Operation Slipper – Poster in Tube

This 568mmx420mm full colour poster by Barry Spicer (renowned military artist) depicts Australian soldiers of the Mentoring Task Force patrolling a village in the Uruzgan Province in 2010.  The soldiers are ever alert to the dangers of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) or attack from an elusive foe.  The keen senses of the Explosive Dectection Dogs are critical to early detection of explosives, while the Australian-designed Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles provide much needed cover and support against the many hazards of operations in Afghanistan.
